Game Features
Break Away is a 5-reel, 243 ways to win slot offering a goal scoring RTP of 96.42% for its players. The game is completely ice hockey focused, with all the symbols taken from the game itself. It is also home to some great features to keep you entertained, even if the theme isn’t quite for you.

Wild Symbol – Your wild symbol is the Break Away logo and it will substitute for all other symbols, except the scatter. The wild is also stacked on reels 3, 4 and 5, to give better chances of completing winning combinations.
Scatter Symbols – A flaming hockey puck is your scatter symbol and landing 3 or more will trigger the bonus spins feature for you. The scatter is also the highest paying symbol in the game, paying up to 12,500 coins as a win for 5 on a winning line.
Rolling Reels Feature – During the game you will see that when you make a winning combination it is removed and new symbols drop into place. Overview
Whist we may not be avid supporters of ice hockey, we really enjoyed Break Away. As usual Microgaming have pieced together a brilliant adaptation of the sport and combined it with our love of slots. The many features are a great draw to most players and those wins trigger fast and often which is just what you want. The soundtrack was a bit off putting for us, but for those who don’t mind it then its going to make the game feel a little more like hockey and less like a slot.
