Game Features
Dead or Alive 2 is a 5-reel, 9 fixed pay line slot that offers players an RTP of 96.82%. In the background you have a desolate western scene, with the mountain range off in the distance and a thunderstorm hitting overhead. The reels themselves are encased in a wooden frame looking almost like the front of a saloon found in the township! Symbols all relate to the theme in one way or another including the card symbols too. Higher values are the sheriff’s badge, gun belt, Stetson, boots and shot glasses. With lower values being the A, K, Q, J and 10 symbols looking as if they are made from wrought iron. As the reels begin their spins it sounds like a shotgun is being ready for firing and there are other sounds playing along too.

Scatter Symbol – Your scatter symbol on Dead or Alive 2 is a set of crossed pistols and landing three or more of these anywhere in view will trigger the bonus spins. Scatter wins are also on offer here too, giving players another win on top of any line wins.

Sticky Wild Feature – During the Bonus Spins feature if you land a wanted poster wild symbol it will become a sticky wild. This means it will hold in place for the remainder of the bonus spins round. They will work in the same way as the wild does in the main game, substituting for all other symbols except the scatter. Land a sticky wild on all 5 reels during the bonus spins to be awarded 5 extra spins on top of those that you already have, but you can only do this once in every round!
Bonus Spins Feature – Having landed 3 or more scatter symbols anywhere in view, you will trigger the bonus spins round. Initially you will be awarded 12 bonus spins to play through with a x2 multiplier given to every win landed during the round. There are two ways to bag yourself some extra spins here too. The first as explained above is to get x5 or more sticky wilds with at least one on every reel! The second is to land three or more scatters which will retrigger the entire round and give you 12 extra spins to play through. However, if you trigger the extra spins via the scatter symbol, you can then not get the extra 5 spins from landing the wild symbols. Either way you get extra spins and that is always a good thing for all concerned.
Overview
Dead or Alive 2 is a stand alone game that far excels the first in more ways than one. The bonus features in this slot work really well and the fact that you can bag either 5 or 12 extra spins from within the bonus round is a winner for us. We would have liked to have seen something more in keeping with the theme as a feature, like a shooting gallery. But other than that this game ticks all the boxes.
