Game Features
Wheel of Wishes is a 5-reel, 10 fixed pay line slot offering players an RTP of 96.10%. The reels are set inside a wooden and metal structure floating above the Arabian desert, which stretches out far into the distance. On the reels are plenty of symbols relating to the theme, including a genies lamp, a treasure chest, a spell book, potion bottles and an amulet which are your higher paying symbols. Your lower paying symbols are the spade, heart, diamond, club and the circle, each one edged in silver and brightly coloured to make them pop on the reels. In the background there is a nice tune playing as the reels spin, mixed in with the usual bells and whistles heard on slots when wins are formed, or features are triggered.
Bet Amounts – Betting on Wheel of Wishes begins at 10p per spin and can be increased up to £25 per spin. Click the coin stack below the spin button to change your bet. You can use the quick pick option selecting from the bet amounts in view. Alternatively, you can use the advanced option which allows you to toggle the plus and minus symbols until you reach your desired bet.
Wild Symbol – Your wild symbol in Well of Wishes is pretty simple. It is a gold edged square with a purple centre and the word ‘wild’ written across the front. Your wild symbol will substitute for all other symbols in the game accept the scatter.
Scatter Symbols – The wheel of fortune symbol is your scatter symbol, quite appropriate for a game named Wheel of Wishes. Landing two or more of the wheel scatter symbol anywhere in view will trigger the power spin feature, which you can read about below.
Power Mode Feature – Should you decide you want to increase your chances you can hit the power mode button found at the left of the reels. Hitting the button will increase your stake by x10 the current bet amount, but you do get something for that. By activating power mode, you will now have the power spin option triggered on every single spin and this in turn means an increased chance of triggering the progressive jackpot.
Power Spin Feature – If you don’t have the power mode activated, you need to land x2 or more wheel scatter symbols anywhere in view to trigger the feature. You will be awarded with a single respin of all reels but with a twist. The centre 3 reels will only contain 3×3 sized higher value and wheel symbols. Whilst reels 1 and 5 will have normal sized symbols but all lower values will also have been removed. This means there are chances of creating some massive win combinations here, but the hope is that you will land a 3×3 wheel symbol fully in view. This will trigger the progressive jackpot feature where the wheel will spin and land on one of the four jackpots available as advised below.
Progressive Jackpot Feature – There is a progressive jackpot on Wheel of Wishes, with four jackpots on offer which include the wow pot, major, minor and mini. To win one of the four jackpots you need to land a full size 3×3 wheel of fortune scatter symbol during a power spin. The wheel will be split into segments containing the word wow pot, major, minor and mini, then it will spin and wherever the arrow lands that will be the jackpot you win. The plus side is if you have power mode triggered, then every spin is a power spin and that leads to an increased chance of landing the full-size wheel scatter.
Overview
Whilst Wheel of Wishes does have an Arabian theme, that’s about as far as it goes with the slot itself. There are no magic carpets, no genies and certainly no princesses to save, but there is that wonderful wheel which brings players a huge win opportunity. Main game wins come through regularly and are a nice mix of pay outs from across the pay table. It does make up for the time it can take to trigger the power spin mode and in turn the Wheel of Wishes progressive jackpot. If you want to shorten the wait time for the power spins to hit, then you can activate the power mode. But that is going to set you back quite a bit on every spin you have it active for. So, think carefully before hitting activate on that one, as it will burn through that balance quickly.
