Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna

This next slot is loosely based on a very successful act, that began its days back in 1984 with just 20 street performers. It needs no introduction really but just in case you haven’t seen anything like it before, welcome to Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna. Created by the development team over at Bally Technologies, it is packed with stunning graphics and amazing features all for you to enjoy.

Game Features

Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna is a 5-reel slot offering 40 fixed pay lines and an RTP of 96.85%. Your reels are sat in front of a beautiful seascape/sunset scene, with a depiction of one of the performers off to the left side. The progressive jackpots can be found above the reels, and there are lots of stunning symbols packing out those reels too. High value symbols are the two women dressed in blue and in pink, the mask, fan, a pink flower and a blue flower. Lower value symbols are the A, K, Q and J letters all elegantly drawn in colourful script work. As the reels spin there is a very tinny retro sounding tune playing, which coupled with the noises from landing winning symbols can get a tad annoying. A shame really considering the rest of the slot is so aesthetically pleasing, but we just switched off the sound and got right back to enjoying the game.

Bet Amounts – Betting on Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna begins at 40p per spin and can be increased up to the maximum of £100 per spin. You can find the bet amount to the right of the spin button and use the plus and minus symbols on either side to adjust your bet.

Wild Symbol – Your wild symbol is a blue and gold ‘wild’ written across some sort of wrought metal work. It will substitute for all other symbols in Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna except for the scatter and the bonus.

Scatter Symbol – A glowing blue face is your scatter symbol, quite in keeping with the modern shows that the Cirque team have created. The scatter symbol doesn’t trigger any of the features, but it does award scatter pays. These are extra wins paid out on top of the line wins landed on the reels and they range from x100 your bet amount for x3 scatters, to x250,000 your bet amount for x11 scatters.

Bonus Symbol – Aptly depicted by the word ‘bonus’ emblazoned across the front of a peacock feather, your bonus symbol triggers the bonus spins. Land three or more of the bonus symbol anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4 to trigger the feature.

Mystery Wilds Feature – At any point during Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna, this feature can trigger. When it activates it will turn up to x12 symbol spaces wild helping to create much bigger win combinations.

Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna at slingoBonus Spins Feature – When you have landed three or more of the bonus symbols you will enter the bonus spins feature. You will first be taken to a wheel of fortune screen where you get one spin of the wheel to pick which bonus game you will play.

  • Moon Goddess Bonus Spins – will award x7 bonus spins with moon symbols overlaid onto standard symbols. When these moon symbols land they will award extra spins or multipliers for the remaining spins.
  • Meteor Wilds Bonus Spins – will award x5 bonus spins with the wild symbol turned into a meteor. You will be awarded up to x12 meteor wild symbols on every spin during this round.
  • Pick Bonus Game – you will enter a new screen where you will be asked to choose from the options on screen. Each pick will award cash sums or move you up a level until you reach the end of the game.
  • Respin and Win – will award a cash sum and give you one more spin which will trigger one of the main features.
  • Cash Win – will award one spin of the cash wheel which offers cash sums of up to x60 your bet amount on it.

Overview

Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna is a seemingly complex game on the outside but once you get into it and start playing, it all becomes much easier to follow. The features are amazing as are the graphics and pay outs. But there are two downsides to the whole game, the first being waiting for the features to trigger. This can be testing but once they do it certainly becomes more interesting. The music is another and we touched upon that earlier. We would have loved for some kind of throwback to the tracks used for the show itself, instead of the annoying track that is in place. But aside from that we had an amazing time playing Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna and we are sure you will too.
