Game Features
Durian Dynamite is a 5-reel, 20 fixed pay line slot that offers players an RTP of 96.22%. When you enter the game, you step inside the jam factory floor. There you are surrounded by pipes, tubes and symbols including jam jars, fruits and of course your usual card symbols. Higher paying symbols are the watermelon, orange, plum, grapes and cherries. With lower paying symbols being the A, K, Q, J and 10. In the background there is a rather funky soundtrack playing along, which for a change didn’t annoy us.
Bet Amounts – Betting begins at 20p per spin and can be increased up to the maximum of £100 per spin. As the pay lines are fixed the only thing you can amend to change your bet is the total bet per spin. Durian Dynamite Feature – At any point during the base game you may see a glowing durian fruit drop from the red tube, which is above and below the centre reel. If this happens the durian fruit that have been accumulating in the tube at the left of the reels, will be thrown onto the reels and all will turn wild. If one durian fruit hits another one that is already in place, both fruits will explode and will add x2 extra durian fruit wilds to the reels. A pretty interesting feature that’s for sure, and we are thankful we can’t smell all those exploding durians too!
Bonus Spins Feature – Having landed three or more of the jam jar scatter symbol, you will enter the bonus spins feature. You will be allocated a set of x6 spins to play through, but before you spin you will be sent to the upgrade picker game. In the upgrade picker you will pick from the symbols on view to reveal upgrades for your bonus spins game. These include extra spins up to a maximum of 30, extra durian dynamite fruit launches or extra red tubes added to the reels which will trigger the dynamite feature faster.
Once you have your upgrades you will enter the bonus spins feature to play through your total number of spins. The round cannot be retriggered from within the feature unfortunately.
Overview
Durian Dynamite is funky, fresh and highly playable, with the added bonus of no smellovision to put you off playing the game! Main game wins do occur fairly often thanks to the addition of the durian dynamite feature, because without that the wins seem to slack off. Thankfully though the warehouse wants rid of those smelly fruits, so they do appear rather often on the reels. The bonus spins feature is pretty good too, with an initial award of x6 spins and the potential to add up to x30 more through the upgrade picker. Overall most players are going to find something they like about the game and we can see why.
