Game Features

A Night Out is a 5-reel, 10 pay line slot offering a tuneful 97.06% RTP for all you clubbers. Set against a neon lit club background, it is complete with dancers waving their arms about. The reels themselves are pretty basic in comparison, but are brightly coloured and packed with cocktails, dancers and more as your symbols.

Higher paying symbols are the female clubbers, each one is set against a different coloured background, blue being highest, then orange, then green. Lower value symbols are the cocktails, the pineapple, strawberry, orange, lime and kiwi-based drinks, which are sure to liven up any night out. As the reels spin away there is a deep drum and base type sound playing, but it stops as soon as the reels have landed. It’s a shame because it’s not too bad to listen too, but once the music ends you are treated to some basic slot sounds instead.

Bet Amounts – Betting on A Night Out begins at 1p per line in play and can be increased up to £1 per line in play. This makes spins cost from 1p per spin up to just £20 per spin. Bets can be adjusted by using the plus and minus symbols on the pay lines, or the bet per line until you are happy with the bet amount that is showing.

Wild Symbol – A pint of beer is your wild symbol in A Night Out, which in a club-based slot makes perfect sense. It will substitute for all other symbols except the scatter and the bonus. The beer wild is also your highest paying symbol in the game.

Scatter Symbol – Your scatter symbol is a dancefloor complete with clubbers. It doesn’t trigger any special feature, but it does award scatter wins. Scatter wins are an extra pay out received on top of any line wins for landing x3, x4 or x5 scatter symbols anywhere in view.

  • X3 scatter symbols will award x5 your bet amount as an extra win,
  • X4 scatter symbols will award x10 your bet amount as an extra win,
  • X5 scatter symbols will award x50 your bet amount as an extra win.

Bonus Symbol – Tom Cruise hasn’t got anything on this bonus symbol, because it is a cocktail shaking barman in A Night Out! Land the barman bonus symbol on reels 1 and 5 to trigger the bonus spins feature.

A Night OutDollar Ball Feature – Playtech has a progressive jackpot feature that is linked to many of its games and A Night Out is one of those games. To play the feature you need to click the ‘enable’ button on the screen before you begin playing the main slot. You will now be able to choose 5 numbers between 1 and 49. On each spin 5 numbers will be drawn, and you will hopefully be able to match some of those numbers. The more you match the bigger the prize pot you win, but in order to enable the feature you will have to pay £1 extra on top of your bet to activate it. The jackpot will always begin at a minimum of £10,000 and will grow with every spin. Once the full jackpot is won it will reset to the £10,000 minimum and it begins again.

  • 1 number matched awards a win of £1.00,
  • 2 numbers matched awards a win of £2.00,
  • 3 numbers matched awards a win of £25.00,
  • 4 numbers matched awards a win of 1% of the current progressive jackpot showing on screen. Based on the minimum of £10,000 you could be winning a minimum of £100, if not more if the jackpot is higher,
  • 5 numbers matched awards a win of 100% of the current progressive jackpot on screen.

Bonus Spins Feature – In order to trigger the bonus spins in A Night Out, you need a barman bonus symbol on reels 1 and 5. Once you have this you will enter the feature and be taken to a new screen to find out how many spins you will be awarded.

On the next screen you will see some of the female clubbers waiting at the bar for a drink. Simply select one of these ladies to reveal how many spins you are allocated. Choose a drink for her to be awarded your win multiplier for the round as well. Spins on offer range from x2 to x20 and multipliers range from x2 to x10. However, if you reveal x20 spins, the x10 multiplier is removed from the options available.

During the round if you land a barman bonus symbol on reels 1 and 5, you will be awarded extra spins and another multiplier. These will be lined up ready to play through once you complete the current round you are in. There is no limit to the number of times you can trigger the extra spins/multipliers and they will just queue up each time they are awarded.

Overview

Oh, what A Night Out that was, who needs alcohol and dancefloors to enjoy themselves? The game provides a lot of fun and is certainly enjoyable for many reasons, not just the main game wins that seem to flow as fast as the drinks. That dollar ball progressive jackpot is an interesting addition and whilst it may be tempting to enable it on every spin, please be wary. It costs £1 for every spin you have the feature activated for and although it doesn’t seem a huge amount, this can soon add up and eat into your credit.
