Game Features
Aladdin’s Legacy is a 5-reel, 20 fixed pay line slot offering a mystical RTP of 94.99% to its players. This seems quite low, but there are a few hidden features that may make that feel a little better. The game itself is set against the sand dunes of Aladdin’s home, with hookah pipe music playing in the background.
When it comes to symbols, the usual smaller value ones include, Q, K, and A. They are colourful and glittery, to really add to the lavish feeling in the game. On top of this you will also see an Arabian stall with red and white awning, a clay jay with scrolls, a desert oasis and a fair maiden.
Bet Amounts – Betting on Aladdin’s Legacy begins at 20p per spin and can be increased to £100 per spin if you wish. To increase or decrease your bet, you need to click on the red or blue arrows. These are found to the left of the screen, click on them until you reach your desired bet amount.
Wild Symbol – Aladdin on a magic carpet is your wild symbol and it will substitute for all other symbols except the scatter. It is also the highest paying symbol within Aladdin’s Legacy and if you land 5 on a winning line you will be rewarded with a 2500 coin win.
Scatter Symbol – We have all wanted to rub a golden lamp at some point and have a genie come and fix things for us. Well, in Aladdin’s Legacy there is no genie to grant your wishes. But your scatter symbol is a golden lamp and landing three or more on the reels will trigger the bonus spins for you.
Bonus Spins Feature– Now, this is where it gets interesting, because land 3 or more scatters to trigger this bonus and you are allocated spins as shown below:
- 3 scatter symbols will award 10 bonus spins,
- 4 scatter symbols will award 15 bonus spins,
- 5 scatter symbols will award 20 bonus spins.
Your bonus spins take place on a different screen and all the symbols are turned to coloured gem stones, except for two. The cave symbol and your gems wild symbol. The cave will only land on reel 5 and if you manage to get this, you enter the next part of the bonus feature. Your wild symbol now substitutes for all symbols except the cave, and again offers a win of x2500 coins if you land 5 on a winning line.
Cave Bonus Feature – If you are lucky enough to land the cave bonus symbol on reel 5, then you will be taken immediately to the next part of the game. You will not lose your bonus spins though, and if you fail at this next stage you will be taken straight back to the bonus spins to carry on where you left off. Here you will be given a door with three spaces in the centre and gems surrounding the outer circle. Pick three gems to try to unlock the door with a prize revealed for each gem chosen. If you succeed to choose the correct gems you will move to the next stage of the bonus, the treasure room.
Treasure Room Feature – Treasure is what Aladdin’s Legacy is all about and this next stage of the bonus is about getting you into the treasure room. Here you are given a map, and you have to pick the correct course to the treasure room to win the prize. Each successful choice you make on the map will award a prize and prompt you to pick your next step. Any incorrect choices will return you back to the bonus spins game that you left on triggering the cave symbol and any prizes you have won along the way are added to your balance. Overview
What we loved about Aladdin’s Legacy the most, is that the bonus game was so interesting that we forgot for a moment what we were actually playing. Considering this is a 5-reel slot it has a lot going on within the features and we applaud the design team for this. The wins in the base game happen often enough and the scatters land regularly, giving you plenty of chances to crack into the cave and treasure room stages of the bonus spins. Overall Aladdin’s Legacy is a winner in our books and we think players of all ability’s will enjoy this too, as it is not too overly complicated.
