If you are anything like us at Boku Slots, then you probably enjoy a good zombie movie or gaming experience! Well the team at Microgaming have come up with a casino-based slot that you are going to love. Enter the world of Lost Vegas if you dare.
Lost Vegas is a 5-reel, 243 ways to win slot offering a ghoulish 96% RTP to its players. You also have the chance of playing as zombies or humans. The graphics are reminiscent of a 90’s console game and the soundtrack is almost relaxing, which is strange considering the theme of the game itself.
Bet Amounts – Betting on Lost Vegas is adjustable and begins at 30p per spin, rising to the maximum of £45 per spin. You can adjust the coin level and the coin amount prior to every spin, by clicking on the bet icon at the bottom of the screen.
Wild Symbol – The Lost Vegas logo is your wild symbol and it substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter. It also acts as your second highest paying symbol within the game, offering a coin win of 450 if you land 5 on a winning line.
Scatter Symbols – A toxic hazard symbol makes your scatter and by landing three or more on the reels, you will trigger the bonus spins. The hazard scatter is your highest paying symbol offering a whopping 2,250 coin win for landing 5 on a winning pay line.
Blackout Bonus – Appearing randomly in the main game on any non-winning spin, the blackout bonus offers a two fold award. The first is that any character symbol on the reels when it triggers will allocate you a cash prize. The second is that you only need one scatter symbol on the reels, to trigger the bonus spins round.
Zombie Fist of Cash Feature – Again randomly triggered in the main game is the Zombie Fist of Cash bonus. At any given point a zombie fist full of cash will burst through the reels to offer the player a cash prize.
Bonus Spins Feature – Having landed three or more hazard scatters in the main game or one hazard scatter in the blackout bonus, you will trigger the bonus spins. You will be given two options to choose from, Survivor mode or Zombie mode. Whichever mode you choose on Lost Vegas you will be allocated the spins and extras below:
- Survivor mode – Allocated with continual spins until you have removed all non-character symbols from the reels. Every time a 10, J, Q, K or A lands on the reels it is removed and you will win a prize amount. Once all those symbols are gone the round is over.
- Zombie mode – Allocated up to a maximum of 50 spins in this option. Zombie character symbols will appear stacked and will infect other reels turning them wild. Once all reels are wild the round is over, but an extra prize is awarded if you play through all 50 spins.
Considering previous attempts at making a zombie themed game from other designers, we went into this with low expectations. Microgaming have however, turned that right around with a well designed game packed full of interesting features and bonuses. The wins triggered often, as you would expect from a game with 243 ways to win.
