Sterling Silver 3D

Microgaming have upped their game with this next slot and we must admit we are pretty excited about it. Sterling Silver 3D is a slot based on all things silver, but that’s not all it has to offer. If you have a pair of 3D glasses handy you may want to go and grab them, because you can play this game in 3D. It’s not a requirement to play as the game can be switched from 3D back to normal again, depending on how you want to play. But for now, let’s get those reels spinning and see how much of the silver you can win.

Game Features

Sterling Silver 3D is a 5-reel, 25 pay line slot offering an RTP of 96.30%, to all you silver miners out there. With an almost steampunk feel to the design of the game, Sterling Silver 3D is full of cogs, silver bars and a dark background to show the silver icons off in all their glory. There are 2 high paying symbols in the game which are the triple silver bar and single silver bar. Lower paying symbols are the A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 set in front of cog style emblems.

Bet Amounts – Betting on Sterling Silver 3D begins at 1p per line in play and can be increased to 25p per line in play. But the adjustments don’t stop there, because you can change the amount of lines active as well as the coin level. So, with all three choices to play with, it means you have a range of bets beginning at 1p and rising to the maximum of £31.25. This isn’t too high in comparison with other games of this nature, but always double check what you’re wagering before you hit that spin button.

Wild Symbol – Sterling Silver 3D’s logo is the wild symbol and it will substitute for all other symbols except the scatter. It will only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5, however it will appear stacked on reel 3 only and as a single symbol on the other reels.

Scatter Symbol – A silver coin with the engraving of 5 silver bars on it is your scatter symbol. Land three or more of these on reels 2, 3 and 4 to trigger the bonus round.

3D Feature – As you may have guessed by now Sterling Silver 3D is a game that can be played in 3D, which in this day and age is awesome for everyone. With the clamour to get your game noticed against all others in the field, this is definitely the way to go. If, however 3D isn’t for you there is the option to switch it off and play in normal mode. Meaning no headaches for those of you out there without 3D glasses to throw on as and when you need them. Just at the top of the screen in the right-hand corner there is a button that says 3D and has a picture of glasses next to it. You can click on this to switch the 3D effect on or off, if it has a red circle around it then it is off, and you can play without needing 3D glasses. If there is no red circle and the symbols look fuzzy and has a red outline, then this means the 3D is switched on and to enjoy this feature you will need glasses.

Wild Multiplier Feature – Should any of the wild symbols which have landed, contribute to a winning combination, then you will trigger this feature. You will be allocated a random prize multiplier of between x2 to x10 on the line win. As the wild symbol lands stacked on reel 3, this should go a long way to helping create those wins needed for this feature to activate.

STERLING SILVER 3D at fruity kingBonus Spins Feature – Land three or more of the silver coin scatter symbol on Sterling Silver 3D, to trigger the bonus spins round. You will be given 15 bonus spins to play through, as well as a multiplier of x10 your bet amount on the initial line win. Then if that wasn’t enough you will always receive a x2 multiplier on all wins landed during the bonus round too. Don’t forget that wild multiplier feature either, yes that’s active here too, meaning you will get your x2 multiplier and then the wild multiplier as well; if you are lucky enough to land one that is! The bonus spins round can be retriggered from within the spins too, with no limit on the amount of times this can happen.

Gamble Feature – For those of you that like to live life in the fast lane so to speak, there is the gamble feature to play as well. Every time you have a win, you can choose to hit the gamble button to try and double or quadruple your win. You need to pick the correct card colour to double your win, or the correct card suit to quadruple your win. Should you win you will get the chance to pick again up to a maximum of five times before the gamble feature will end and return you to the game. Remember though that if you choose incorrectly you will lose the money you have won during the gamble, plus losing the original prize win too.

Overview

Sterling Silver 3D is quite an intriguing game from the get-go, but the fact it has 3D capability certainly sets it aside from other games. Playing a slot game in 3D was certainly an experience, and we can’t wait to see what games are launched next with this capability as it really does immerse you in the game. Unfortunately, the 3d experience did get a tad boring after a while as there isn’t that much going on in this particular game. Whether you want to play in 3D or not, there is a lot of other things to love about Sterling Silver 3D including that amazing wild multiplier. Not just on offer in the main game but also in the bonus round on top of the multiplier! If that’s not enough to get you clicking away then the bonus spins should do that for you, with 15 initial spins to begin with instead of the usual 5 or 10 and they can be retriggered from within the round.
