Just for the Win have developed an awesome slot called Deco Diamonds, which takes us right back to the art deco period of the roaring 20s and 30s. So, don your flapper dresses or your fedora and enjoy the design of this art deco game, and let’s get spinning.
Deco Diamonds is a 5-reel, 9 pay line slot with an RTP of 97%, which is awesome considering the low amount of pay lines in play! In keeping with the theme, the reels are designed to spin inside a 20s style ornate golden frame. There are diamonds embellished on the front of all the symbols, which are the retro designs we know and love. Higher values are the diamonds, 7’s and bells which are stacked on the reels. Lower value symbols being the melon, lemon, plum and cherry which are single symbols on the reels.
Bet Amounts – Betting begins at 10p per spin and can be raised up to £50 per spin in Deco Diamonds, so it’s not going to break the bank. To change your bet, click the casino chip symbol above the spin button. You will see a wheel with all the available stake amounts on it and simply use the arrows above or below the wheel to change your bet until you are happy.
Wild Symbol – Your wild symbol is the Deco Diamonds logo and it will substitute for all other symbols in the game. It is also the highest paying symbol on the reels too, offering a whopping x1000 your bet amount for landing 5 wilds in a winning combination.
Scatter Symbol – In Deco Diamonds the wild symbol doubles up as your scatter symbol as well. To trigger the feature, you just need to land 2 or more of the wild/scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. In doing this you will trigger the feature game and the rest is explained below.
Deco Diamonds Feature – As mentioned above you will need to land 2 or more of the wild/scatter symbol in order to trigger the feature. Two or more scatter/wild symbols will award a respin of the reels, three or more will also award a wheel of fortune spin once the respins have ended. After you have landed your 2 or more symbols, they will be held in place for a single respin. If you land any more, they too will then hold in place whilst the reels respin again. The respins will end once there are no more wild/scatter symbols that land on the reels. Once you have a minimum of x3 or more scatter/wild symbols, you will be awarded with a wheel of fortune spin at the end of your respins. Here you will see a huge wheel filled with random level up sections and multipliers that change in level. The change in multipliers is dependent upon the number of scatter/wild symbols on the reels when it triggers.
- X3 scatter/wild symbols awards silver level wheel with multipliers up to x80 your stake amount,
- X4 scatter/wild symbols awards gold level wheel with multipliers up to x588 your stake amount,
- X5 scatter/wild symbols awards diamond level wheel with multipliers up to x1000 your stake amount.
If you land on a level up section and are on silver or gold wheels, you will move up to the next level wheel and be given another spin.
Whilst Deco Diamonds is essentially a basic slot, there is a lot more going on than meets the eye. Feature wise there is just the one, but it is an interesting one as you can trigger it with just two symbols, which then awards a respin of the reels. With it having two parts to the feature you will find the first part is the respin and the second part is the bonus wheel. Luckily for players the first part of the feature triggers fast and often, due to only needing two or more symbols to activate it. The second art of the feature is a little harder to land, but well worth the wait when it does. After all it didn’t get that 97% RTP for nothing now did it? If simplistic gameplay and retro layout is your thing, then this game is definitely going to be up your street. If you usually prefer a more complex game, you might find yourself strangely enjoying this game over and over! We did, and it surprised us too!
