When you see the words Creepy and Castle in the same game title, are you even a slot fan if you don’t want to take a peek. Fear not Boku Slots will be there holding your hand in case you get too scared. Play along with Chance Interactive as you walk the hallowed halls of Creepy Castle and search for the fortune within.
Creepy Castle is a 5-reel, 25 pay line slot offering a frighteningly low RTP of 95.21% for players. The game is set against the dungeon like background of a castle, which is less creepy and more monsters Inc. That being said there is something almost scary in the childlike way the monsters have been drawn. Even the usual card symbols have been monstered up and given eyes and teeth.
Bet Amounts – Betting on Creepy Castle begins at 1p per line in play and can be increased to £10 per line in play. This means that a spin could cost anything from 1p up to a maximum of £250, depending on the bet amount and the number of lines active.
Wild Symbol – A paint splatter with the word wild is your wild symbol and it will substitute for all other symbols except the scatter. The paint splatter wild is also your highest paying symbol, offering a 50 coin win for landing five or more on an active pay line.
Scatter Symbols – The Creepy Castle logo is your scatter symbol and 3 or more of these anywhere on the reels, will trigger the bonus spins game.
Monster Wilds Feature – At any given point in the main game a monster symbol can be turned wild. These will also substitute for all other symbols except the scatter. It is randomly triggered and the monster wilds feature will help to form more wins where possible.
Bonus Spins Feature – Landing 3 or more scatters anywhere on the reels will trigger the bonus spins as shown below:
- 3 scatters will award 9 bonus spins,
- 4 scatters will award 12 bonus spins,
- 5 scatters will award 15 bonus spins.
But, before the spins begin you will be offered dungeon doors to choose from. You can choose doors until you receive the Creepy Spins sign. Behind each door there is a monster to be freed, each one you free will become a wild symbol during the bonus spins. If the dungeon door pick goes well, there is a chance you may end up with all four monster wilds plus the standard wild. If this happens you are looking at some hefty wins.
Whilst our initial excitement of Creepy Castle being a bit of a scare fest fell short, we thoroughly enjoyed playing through the game. Wins happened often and once that bonus spins feature landed we had some fun with that one. The animations are quirky and interesting to watch as well. Let’s not forget those monster wilds in the main game too, as they landed often helping to create smaller wins more regularly. Every little helps as they say, and Chance Interactive have definitely won us over.
