Beauty and the Beast is a 5-reel, 20 fixed pay line slot, offering an enchanting RTP that varies between 96.30% to 97.10%. At the beginning of the game there is a short animated video welcoming you into the beast’s castle. The reels are set out inside an ornate blue gilt frame and the vast staircase of the ballroom is behind it. Playing along as the reels spin is a very musical track, that would be right at home in the movie version of the slot. Symbols include two versions of the main characters, Belle/princess Belle and the beast /prince as the higher values. With coloured gemstones ranging from red, green, pink, blue, yellow and purple as the lower values.
Bet Amounts – Betting begins at 20p per spin in Beauty and the Beast and can be increased to the maximum of £100 per spin. To the left of the spin button you will see the bet amount and beside that the coin value. It is the coin value you need to adjust in order to change your bet. Beauty and the Beast is the perfect end to a beautiful story, Yggdrasil Gaming have excelled themselves with this slot. Well designed, beautifully executed and fun to play, all the things you look for. The addition of the golden bet is in theory a great idea but considering that the boosts are only active in helping the bonus spins, we found it a bit dull. With the extra cost incurred we had hoped for features that would enhance the base game too. That being said with the golden bet in place we did notice that the bonus spins triggered a little more often than without them. So, it really depends on what you are playing the game for as to whether you appreciate the golden bet feature or not. When all is said and done, we are suckers for a good fairy tale ending and with Beauty and the Beast we got that and much more. Whether you are a fan of the genre or not, this game has a lot to offer and we are sure it will appeal to all.
